AI Engineer
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AI Engineer based in India.

You will contribute to the design and implementation of scalable AI solutions, working across model development, data pipelines, and production-ready systems. Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and intelligent systems for production use cases
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and backend services supporting AI-driven applications
- Work on model training, fine-tuning, evaluation, and optimization for performance and accuracy
- Integrate AI models into web or backend systems using APIs and modern software architectures
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into AI solutions
- Conduct experimentation, testing, and validation to ensure reliability, scalability, and robustness of models
- Monitor and improve deployed models, ensuring continuous performance optimization and retraining where needed
- Stay current with advancements in AI, machine learning frameworks, and cloud-based AI services
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
- Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in AI/ML engineering, data science, or software engineering with AI focus
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, deep learning, and model evaluation techniques
- Hands-on experience with Python and AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
- Experience building and deploying production-grade systems using APIs and backend frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Curiosity and willingness to continuously learn and experiment with emerging AI technologies
