Design and implement graph data models using Neo4j Write complex Cypher queries for data retrieval, transformation, and analytics Develop and maintain graph database schemas aligned with business requirements Integrate Neo4j with backend applications (REST APIs, microservices) Optimize query performance and database configurations Work with Neo4j Bloom, Neo4j Browser, and Neo4j Desktop for visualization and exploration Implement graph algorithms (shortest path, centrality, community detection, etc.) using Neo4j Graph Data Science (GDS) library Migrate data from relational/NoSQL databases to graph models Collaborate with data scientists for graph-based ML and analytics Ensure data security, backup, and high availability of Neo4j clusters Document data models, query patterns, and architecture decisions Responsibilities 1 Morethan 20 Characters 3-6 years of experience in database development 2 years hands-on with Neo4j (Community or Enterprise Edition) Strong proficiency in Cypher Query Language Experience with graph data modeling (nodes, relationships, properties) Knowledge of Neo4j GDS (Graph Data Science) library Experience integrating Neo4j with languages like Python, Java, or Node.js Understanding of graph theory concepts Familiarity with APOC library (Neo4j procedures and functions) Experience with other graph databases (Amazon Neptune, ArangoDB, TigerGraph) Knowledge of RDF/SPARQL or semantic web technologies Exposure to knowledge graphs or recommendation engines Experience with cloud platforms - AWS, GCP, or Azure Familiarity with Kafka or event-driven architectures for graph data ingestion Experience with GraphQL Background in fraud detection, network analysis, or social graph use cases Core proficiency Level ( L1,L2,L3,L4) Mandatory Technical Stack (Typical) AreaTools / TechGraph DBNeo4j 4.x / 5.xQuery LanguageCypher, APOCBackendPython / Java / Node.jsVisualizationNeo4j Bloom, GephiCloudAWS Neptune / GCP / AzureETL / PipelinesApache Spark, Kafka, AirflowVersion ControlGit
