Tableau Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of data visualisation principles, SQL, and analytics. Key Expectations: · Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and visual analytics solutions. · Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations. · Extract, clean, and transform data from various sources (e.g., Snowflake, internal databases, APIs) to support reporting needs. · Optimize Tableau extracts, queries, and dashboards for performance and scalability. · Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all reports and dashboards. · Automate data refreshes, report scheduling, and dashboard maintenance tasks. · Apply and advocate best practices in data visualization, user experience, and performance tuning. · Document development processes, data sources, and create user guides for end users. · Troubleshoot and resolve data or reporting issues promptly. · Stay updated with the latest Tableau features and BI trends. · Mentor and train junior developers on Tableau development and BI best practices. Hiring Focus: · Hands-on experience in developing Tableau dashboards with a solid understanding of visualization best practices. · Strong SQL skills for querying and data manipulation, with familiarity in data cleaning and transformation. · Experience working with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) and ETL processes (e.g., Airflow). · Ability to work with large datasets and optimize dashboard performance for efficiency and scalability. · Exposure to Tableau Server/Cloud deployment and administration. · Basic knowledge of Python and data pipeline concepts is a plus. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy. · Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
