Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow ITSM Developer to design, develop, configure, and support enterprise ServiceNow solutions focused on IT Service Management (ITSM). The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in core ITSM modules, JavaScript scripting, integrations, workflow automation, and ITIL-based service management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow ITSM applications based on business requirements.
  • Configure and enhance core ITSM modules:
    • Incident Management
    • Problem Management
    • Change Management
    • Request Management
    • Service Catalog
    • Knowledge Management
  • Develop and maintain:
    • Business Rules
    • Client Scripts
    • Script Includes
    • UI Policies
    • UI Actions
    • ACLs
    • Scheduled Jobs
  • Build and automate workflows using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Service Catalog.
  • Develop and maintain REST/SOAP integrations with third-party applications.
  • Configure CMDB and support CSDM best practices.
  • Develop Record Producers, Catalog Items, and approval workflows.
  • Perform unit testing, support UAT, deployment activities, and production releases.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and optimize system performance.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Prepare technical documentation and participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of ServiceNow Development experience.
  • Strong experience with:
    • Incident Management
    • Problem Management
    • Change Management
    • Request Management
    • Service Catalog
    • Knowledge Management
  • Proficiency in:
    • JavaScript
    • Glide API
    • HTML/CSS
    • Jelly (preferred)
    • XML/JSON
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Flow Designer
    • IntegrationHub
    • Business Rules
    • Client Scripts
    • Script Includes
    • UI Policies
    • UI Actions
    • ACLs
  • Experience building REST and SOAP integrations.
  • Knowledge of CMDB, CSDM, and MID Server.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and SDLC methodologies.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
