Candidates with strong skills and a portfolio are encouraged to apply.\nJob Summary:\nThe company is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in 2D drafting, 3D modeling, fabrication design, and 3D printing. The role involves designing mechanical products, machine parts, enclosures, sheet metal components, and prototypes while coordinating with manufacturing and fabrication teams.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nCreate 2D drawings and 3D CAD models.\nDesign for fabrication, machining, CNC, laser cutting, and sheet metal manufacturing.\nDevelop 3D-printable models for FDM/SLA printing.\nPrepare manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and assembly documentation.\nDesign jigs, fixtures, brackets, enclosures, and custom mechanical systems.\nImprove designs based on testing and production feedback.\nEnsure compliance with GD&T, tolerances, and manufacturing standards.\nCoordinate with fabrication and production teams.\nPerform design validation and resolve engineering issues.\nMaintain design documentation and revision control\n\nRequired Skills:\nStrong mechanical engineering fundamentals.\nExpertise in 2D drafting and 3D modeling.\nExperience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Creo, CATIA, or Fusion 360.\nKnowledge of sheet metal design, weldments, machine design, assembly design, fabrication drawings, and GD&T.\nExperience with 3D printing (FDM/SLA), STL generation, print optimization, and material selection.\nAbility to prepare technical documentation and BOMs.\nPreferred Skills:\nCNC machining, laser cutting, bending operations.\nPrototype development and product design.\nBasic FEA knowledge.\nIndependent problem-solving ability.\nEducation:\nBachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
