Accounts Receivable Intern

About the Role:\n\nWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Intern to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who want hands-on experience in finance operations, invoicing, collections, account reconciliations, and reporting in a fast-growing start-up environment.\n\nYou will work closely with the Finance team to support day-to-day Accounts Receivable activities while gaining practical exposure to financial processes, systems, and cross-functional collaboration.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nAssist in creating and sending customer invoices accurately and on time.\nTrack incoming payments and update records in finance systems.\nSupport follow-ups on outstanding invoices and payment reminders.\nHelp reconcile customer accounts and identify discrepancies.\nMaintain AR records, reports, and supporting documentation.\nCoordinate with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to resolve billing-related queries.\nAssist in month-end closing activities and reporting.\nSupport process improvement initiatives within the Finance function.\n\nRequirements:\n\nBachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (B.Com, BBA Finance, M.Com, etc.).\nRecent graduate (2024, 2025, or 2026 pass-out).\n0–1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounting, Finance Operations, or relevant internships.\nBasic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\nProactive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong sense of ownership.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nInternship or project experience in finance or accounting.\nBasic knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting practices.\nFamiliarity with accounting software, ERP systems, or finance tools.\n\nWhat We Offer:\n\nHands-on experience in a high-growth startup environment.\nExposure to finance operations and cross-functional business processes.\nMentorship from experienced finance professionals.\nOpportunities to learn, grow, and take ownership.\nPotential opportunity for a full-time role based on performance and business requirements.
