Technical Financial Analyst

Job Summary:\nWe are looking for a Technical Financial Analyst who combines strong financial knowledge with technical expertise. The ideal candidate should be skilled in building financial models, analyzing large datasets, and supporting investor discussions. This role requires working closely with senior leadership and handling data-driven financial decision-making.\n\nLocation:\nPune\n\nShift Timing:\n3:00 PM – 12:00 AM\n\nJob Type:\nFull-time/Part-time / Contract\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and investor presentations\nAnalyze financial data and generate actionable insights for business decision-making\nPrepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for investor discussions and leadership reviews\nWork extensively with Google Sheets (advanced formulas, macros, automation)\nUse Google BigQuery to extract, manage, and analyze large datasets\nAutomate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy\nCollaborate closely with C-level executives and leadership teams\nSupport budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis\nEnsure accuracy, consistency, and clarity in financial reporting\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field\n2–5 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role\nStrong understanding of financial concepts (P&L, cash flow, forecasting, unit economics, valuation basics)\nAdvanced proficiency in Google Sheets (macros, automation, advanced formulas)\nHands-on experience with Google BigQuery\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities\nExcellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)\nExperience working with C-level executives and senior stakeholders\nAbility to work in a 3 PM – 12 AM shift\n\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience in building investor-ready financial models and presentations\nKnowledge of SQL (for BigQuery)\nExperience in startup or fast-paced environments\nFamiliarity with BI tools or financial planning tools\n\nKey Traits:\nStrong attention to detail\nStructured thinker with a data-driven approach\nHigh ownership and accountability\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities
