Lead Project Coordinator - Release Management

This role plays a key part in driving the successful coordination and delivery of complex, multi-technology customer projects across global environments. You will be responsible for ensuring structured release management, clear execution governance, and seamless alignment between technical teams, stakeholders, and customers. The position requires strong coordination skills to manage multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining quality, timelines, and business objectives. You will act as a central point of control for release planning, risk tracking, and cross-functional communication. Operating in a fast-paced, international setting, you will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and customer stakeholders. This is a highly visible role where your ability to structure execution and maintain delivery discipline directly impacts customer satisfaction and project success.
Accountabilities:
You will oversee end-to-end project coordination and release management activities, ensuring structured execution across multiple concurrent customer initiatives while maintaining delivery quality and governance standards. You will drive planning, tracking, and stakeholder alignment across all phases of project delivery.
- Lead planning and execution of medium to large-scale customer projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and delivery expectations
- Coordinate release management activities, including scheduling, dependencies tracking, and deployment readiness
- Maintain strong project governance, ensuring structured reporting, documentation, and change control processes
- Track project metrics, financials, risks, and issues, ensuring proactive mitigation and escalation when needed
- Facilitate cross-functional communication between technical teams, partners, and customer stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to delivery frameworks, methodologies, and operational best practices
- Mentor and support junior project coordination or delivery team members when required
Requirements:
You bring solid experience in project coordination or project management within IT or technology-driven environments, with the ability to manage complexity, communicate effectively, and maintain strong execution discipline across multiple workstreams.
- 6+ years of experience in project management, project coordination, or release management within IT, telecom, or similar environments
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in complex, multi-technology landscapes
- Strong understanding of project planning, governance, release cycles, and change management processes
- Experience tracking project financials, risks, dependencies, and delivery KPIs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work collaboratively with global teams and external partners
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities
