Must Have Skills / Project Experience / Certifications

  • 3–10 years of hands-on experience in Life Sciences spanning development, implementation, and/or managed services/AMS functions
  • Familiarity with GxP and applicable compliance validation concepts including IQ/OQ/PQ, computerised system validation (CSV), and related documentation standards.
  • Experience in Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management following ITSM/ITIL frameworks.
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow and JIRA for ticket management, SLA tracking, and Agile project delivery.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with onsite/offshore cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Veeva CRM configuration and administration, including user access management, CLM content setup, and CRM data quality monitoring.
  • Practical knowledge of Veeva Vault administration, CRM-Vault integration, and reporting and analytics development.
  • Experience with Veeva CRM multichannel engagement modules including remote detailing, consent management, event management, and territory alignment configurations.
  • Proficiency in Linux command-line administration for managing compute and storage environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Veeva CRM platform administration covering MyInsights dashboard configuration and KPI design.
  • Experience with CLM (Closed Loop Marketing) content deployment and management within Veeva CRM.
  • Hands-on experience with Approved Email configuration and template management in Veeva CRM.
  • Experience managing sample management, order management, and field inventory workflows within Veeva CRM.
  • Experience with Veeva CRM Events Management including event creation, approval workflows, and full lifecycle management.
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial Life Sciences business processes and the ability to translate them into scalable Veeva CRM solutions, including field force effectiveness, territory management, HCP/HCO engagement tracking, and multi-channel commercial operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to troubleshoot complex platform issues and design preventive solutions.

Good to Have Skills / Project Experience / Certifications

  • Experience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical domain, with a sound understanding of regulated commercial and medical affairs environments.
  • Exposure to Veeva Vault or related Veeva ecosystem tools (e.g., Vault PromoMats, Vault MedComms, Vault RIM).
  • Strong familiarity with the Vault CRM data model and object naming conventions, including standard platform objects, CRM-standard objects, and custom object design patterns used in commercial Life Sciences deployments.
  • Deep knowledge of Vault Platform integration components including Vault REST API, Direct Data API, Spark Messaging, Vault Java SDK, VQL (Vault Query Language), Vault Loader, and Iceberg Data Lakehouse architecture.
  • Advanced SQL and database performance tuning skills.
  • Familiarity with additional CRM analytics and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce Reports) alongside Veeva CRM.
  • SharePoint Online administration or Microsoft 365 project management tooling experience.
  • Understanding of data warehouse or data lake concepts relevant to Veeva CRM analytics platforms.
  • Exposure to distributed file systems, HPC environments, or high-availability cluster configurations.
  • Knowledge of integrations, data migration strategies, and release management processes in Veeva CRM or Salesforce environments.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including sprint ceremonies, backlog management, and iterative release planning.
  • Veeva CRM certification (e.g., Veeva CRM Business Admin or equivalent) or Active Vault CRM Certified Administrator credential (or equivalent Veeva Certified Administrator — CRM) is highly desirable.
  • Salesforce Administrator or Platform Developer certification is a valuable complement to Veeva CRM expertise.
  • Experience supporting commercial operations or field force enablement initiatives, including rep onboarding, territory realignment, and CRM adoption programmes.
Familiarity with master data management (MDM) concepts and HCP/HCO data governance practices relevant to Life Sciences CRM platforms.
