Qualification : BE -Mechanical /Electrical/Chemical/Civil + ADIS/PDIS or Similar safety qualification

Location - Hazira , Surat

Expereince : 15-20 Years

Purpose of the Position: To implement project safety governance at site, in the fulfillment of its obligations, statutory or otherwise, concerning prevention of personal injuries and maintaining a safe working environment. Guide the site team in fulfilling their responsibility.

Key Role & Responsibility:

Responsible for implementing the Project Safety governance at Client location with a support and coordination of top Management by Undertaking interventions through

\n
• Implement robust Construction safety management system Manual, Procedures and formats.
\n
• Developing Construction safety capabilities and competencies at all levels.
\n
• Developing an integrated organization structure for governance.
\n
• Assurance process for managing High risk activities through Specialists and team members
\n
• Developing robust process for managing “SIMOPS”
\n
• Developing process and assurance for Pre start up safety reviews
\n

The major activities are

\n
• To advise the concerned departments in project planning and organizing measures, necessary for the effective control of personal injuries.
\n
• To advise and monitor appropriate resources has been deploy for carry out the work in safe manner.
\n
• To advise on basic process safety aspects during construction and commissioning phase.
\n
• To check and evaluate the effectiveness of the action taken or proposed to be taken to prevent personal injuries.
\n
• To provide advice on the matters related to carrying out project safety inspections at the sites.
\n
• To promote setting up of High risk focus committee and safety committees as per guidelines and act as adviser and catalyst to such committees.
\n
• To advice the site safety team and execution team for the implementation of safety plan and standards at site and check the effectiveness.
\n
• To design suitable training and educational program for the prevention of personal injuries and implement through Safety trainers.
\n
• Advice on Campaigns, competitions, contests, and other activities which will develop and maintain the interest of the workers in establishing and maintaining safe conditions of work and procedures
\n
• To study and analysis all accident/incidents and advice for the best safety control measures to be taken and ensure the same.
\n
• Regular sites visit with department heads /Unit Head and on spot suggestion for best practices.
\n
• To monitor Personal safety Action Plan(PSAP) implementation of senior leaders in client project team
\n
• To provide safety coaching to senior level project safety team members
\n
• To Prepare the weekly/monthly MIS and report the same to- client and HO
\n

Process safety Management activities (Preferable activities)

\n
• To provide advice on SIMOPS
\n
• To advice on PSM concepts and implementation of PSM elements, i.e PSSR, PHA
\n
• To advice on PHA studies and help interpreting PHA reports
\n
• To advice project safety related studies
\n
