Role Overview
The Content Writer will be responsible for developing compelling, impactful, and brand-aligned content across digital and offline platforms. The role requires a creative storyteller with strong writing, editing, and communication skills to support branding, admissions, marketing campaigns, media communications, and institutional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development
- Create engaging content for websites, landing pages, blogs, newsletters, brochures, prospectuses, advertisements, and marketing campaigns.
- Develop compelling copy for social media platforms, email campaigns, and digital marketing initiatives.
- Write scripts for promotional videos, corporate films, reels, testimonials, and event coverage.
- Produce thought leadership content, articles, interviews, and leadership communications.
Offline Content & Publications
- Develop content for brochures, admission booklets, flyers, standees, banners, posters, and event collaterals.
- Draft speeches, welcome addresses, event scripts, and institutional presentations.
- Create content for university magazines, annual reports, award nominations, and institutional publications.
- Support branding campaigns through impactful print and outdoor advertising copy.
Brand & Communication
- Ensure consistency in Chandigarh University's brand voice, messaging, and communication standards.
- Collaborate with branding, admissions, design, digital marketing, and media teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
- Conduct content research and fact-checking to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Optimize digital content for SEO and audience engagement.
Content Management
- Proofread and edit content to maintain high quality and grammatical accuracy.
- Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Stay updated with industry trends, content marketing strategies, and emerging communication formats.
