Job Description
The Opportunity\nOur unique, stylized characters are a signature part of our brand identity, serving as the core heroes, villains, and comedic centerpieces of all our content. We are hiring a Stylized 3D Character Artists to sculpt, model, and texture standout characters for our digital video animations and immersive VR game titles.\n\nYour digital designs will have a global reach and double as the exact blueprints for our professional toy manufacturing workflows. If you have the drive to see your artistic creations brought to life on screen and manufactured into physical merchandise for millions of fans, this is your shot.\n\nWhat You'll Do\nSculpt high-impact characters: Transform 2D concept art and loose design briefs into fully realized, high-readability 3D character models.\nOptimize meshes for animation: Build character models with clean, efficient topology and smart UV layouts so our animation team can rig them flawlessly.\nDeliver toy-ready models: Generate tight, watertight, and clean digital assets that can be handed off directly to external toy manufacturing pipelines with zero geometric remodeling.\nOwn the visual style: Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts, push visual standards, and maintain strict asset consistency across digital and physical mediums.\nExecute on rapid timelines: Move fast, adapt cleanly, and deliver benchmark-setting assets within a fast-paced, content-driven pipeline.\n\nWho You Are\nStylized asset expert: Professional-level proficiency in Blender or ZBrush for 3D character sculpting, modeling, and texturing.
You specialize in bold silhouettes, clean surfaces, and high visual readability rather than hyper-realism.\nAirtight technical modeler: You understand clean edge flow, UV mapping budgets, and technical mesh integrity. You don't hand off messy files that glitch or stretch during animation or manufacturing handoffs.\nPortfolio that speaks for itself: Show us stylized character models, wireframes, and texture maps that demonstrate true creative excellence. We want to see work that makes us want to buy the toy.\nYou deeply care about the craft: Every polygon matters to you.
You're the person who manually tweaks a vertex loop or adjusts a hand-painted texture map at 2 AM because it didn't feel right—not because someone asked you to.\nComfortable with accountability: You have a verifiable history of success and are entirely comfortable coordinating reference checks directly with your former creative directors or managers as a routine part of our screening process.\nHow to Apply\nSend your resume, portfolio link (complete with wireframe overlays), and a brief note detailing your favorite character archetype to [email protected]. We want to see how your models are constructed under the hood. We move fast.
