Senior Revenue Accountant

Position: Senior Lead - Revenue Accounting

Roles & Responsibility:

Your deliverables will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Revenue Recognition in line with US GAAP ASC 606 equivalent to IFRS15 and Ind AS 115
• Ensure timely closure of activities related to revenue recognition with utmost accuracy
• Unbilled and Deferred Revenue analysis
• Develop and maintain revenue assurance KPIs, dashboards, and reports
• Implement controls to prevent revenue loss and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Billing, IT, Sales, Finance) to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition
• Verifying the Contract / PO documents received from the Customer. Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all accounting transactions performed throughout the year.
• Independently handling statutory and internal audits for your areas.
• Prepare and update accounting memos on revenue streams to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Skill Set:

• Self-Motivated
• Good communication skills with the ability to interact with Sales team / leaders / other team members
• Prior experience of ERP systems Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) is an added advantage & Knowledge in systems – Salesforce, ERP, MS Office mostly in excel.
• Ability to track and follow up with strong problem solving and organizational skills
• Team player, ability to work with virtual, global teams, ability to work with limited supervision
• Strong communication and customer service orientation
• Independent and meticulous with figures with expertise of working on spreadsheets and MS office

Work Experience: 3 to 6 years’ experience in Revenue Assurance Profile

Educational Qualification: CA
