\nAs we continue to scale our operations, we are looking for an Assistant Manager – Control Room to ensure seamless network monitoring, operational excellence, and real-time issue resolution across our battery swapping ecosystem.
\n\nPosition Overview
\nThe Assistant Manager – Control Room will be responsible for monitoring and managing the day-to-day performance of Yuma's battery swapping network, ensuring maximum uptime, operational efficiency, and service reliability. The role requires close coordination with field operations, maintenance, technology, customer support, and partner teams to proactively identify issues, drive resolutions, and maintain service-level commitments.
\nThis is a high-impact role requiring strong analytical skills, operational rigor, and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
\n\nKey Responsibilities
\nNetwork Monitoring & Operations Management

- Monitor the health and performance of battery swapping stations, chargers, batteries, and associated infrastructure through centralized monitoring systems. \n
- Ensure real-time tracking of station uptime, battery availability, charging status, and network performance metrics. \n
- Identify operational anomalies and initiate corrective actions to minimize service disruptions. \n
- Escalate critical issues to relevant stakeholders and ensure timely resolution. \n
Incident Management & Escalation
\n- \n
- Manage operational incidents, outages, and service interruptions across the network. \n
- Coordinate with field operations, maintenance teams, and technology teams for rapid issue resolution. \n
- Maintain incident logs, root cause analyses, and closure reports. \n
- Ensure adherence to defined escalation matrices and response timelines. \n
Control Room Governance

- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for control room operations. \n
- Ensure all operational alerts, tickets, and escalations are tracked and closed within agreed SLAs. \n
- Conduct shift reviews and prepare daily operational reports. \n
- Maintain operational dashboards and performance trackers. \n
Data Analysis & Reporting

- Analyze operational data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement. \n
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on network performance, uptime, battery utilization, and incident trends. \n
- Support leadership with actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and customer experience. \n
Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with Operations, Fleet, Service, Product, Technology, and Customer Support teams. \n
- Support regional teams in resolving field-level operational challenges. \n
- Drive cross-functional coordination during critical incidents and high-priority escalations. \n
Continuous Improvement
\n- \n
- Recommend process improvements to enhance monitoring capabilities and operational efficiency. \n
- Support automation initiatives for alert management, incident tracking, and reporting. \n
- Participate in operational excellence and network optimization projects. \n
Qualifications & Experience
\nEducational Qualifications
\n- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. \n
- MBA is preferred. \n
Experience
\n- \n
- 3–6 years of experience in Control Room Operations, Network Operations Center (NOC), Command Center, Fleet Operations, Logistics Operations, EV Operations, Telecom Operations, or similar operational environments. \n
- Experience in managing real-time operations and escalations is highly preferred. \n
- Prior experience in EV, battery swapping, mobility, logistics, or technology-driven operations will be an advantage. \n
