Job Title : Backup Engineer

Experience : 5 to 8 Years

Location : Mumbai

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Backup and Storage infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for automated infrastructure provisioning.
Build and maintain Ansible playbooks for server configuration, deployment, and automation.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.
Develop automation scripts and tools using Python to improve operational efficiency.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
Manage infrastructure code using Git and follow version control best practices.
Create and maintain technical documentation, process workflows, and automation standards.
Drive DevOps and SRE best practices to improve platform reliability, scalability, and performance.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong expertise in Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud infrastructure management.
Experience with Git, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and version control systems.
Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and configuration management.
Understanding of Backup and Storage technologies is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting, scripting, and infrastructure automation skills.
Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and cloud infrastructure best practices.
