Role Description The Structural Drafter is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role involves preparing detailed structural shop drawings, technical drawings, and coordination drawings for various infrastructure and building projects under the guidance of structural engineers. The Structural Drafter will translate design concepts and calculations into accurate drawings and models, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include producing and revising drawings in CAD/BIM software, coordinating with engineers and other design professionals, maintaining drawing documentation, and supporting the design team throughout the project lifecycle. The role also includes checking drawings for accuracy, supporting clash detection and constructability reviews, and contributing to efficient communication with clients and contractors through clear, well-organized documentation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in preparing Shop Drawings and Technical Drawing for structural and infrastructure projects.
• Ability to interpret and produce Architectural Drawings and coordinate them with structural layouts.
• Foundational knowledge of Structural Engineering principles relevant to drafting and detailing.
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows for integrated project delivery.
• Strong skills in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and familiarity with 3D modeling tools (e.g., Revit or equivalent).
• Attention to detail, accuracy in dimensions and annotations, and strong documentation practices.
• Good communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, architects, and project teams on-site.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline, with prior drafting experience in infrastructure or building projects preferred.

Qualifications

• ITI Certification in Drafting, Civil Diploma, or B.Tech/B.E. in Civil

CTC: 4-4.2 LPA (Based on experience and proficiency)
