Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Workday Financials across key modules General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Procurement, Banking & Settlement, Assets and Financial Reporting.
- Configure business processes, security roles, validations, calculated fields and custom reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional and integration issues, including those involving Workday Studio, Workday APIs and integrations with Salesforce / MuleSoft and other downstream systems.
- Support EIB data loads, data conversion (mapping, validation, reconciliation) and data-integrity checks.
- Perform root-cause analysis of defects and incidents and drive resolution to closure.
- Support testing cycles (UAT / regression) and manage change deployments through the appropriate governance process.
- Maintain knowledge-transfer (KT) documentation runbooks, configuration logs and test scripts.
- Partner with Finance SMEs in the CFO's team and own issues end-to-end across functional and technical boundaries; escalate to L3 / Workday vendors where required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Hands-on Workday Financials experience across multiple modules, including Adaptive Planning and Prism Analytics.
- Solid understanding of finance processes and controls including period close, IFRS / GAAP and audit requirements.
- Demonstrated experience working in global, multi-entity environments with structured governance.
- Strong functional configuration capability (business processes, security, calculated fields, reports) combined with the ability to diagnose integration issues (Studio, APIs, EIB, Salesforce / MuleSoft).
- Experience supporting UAT / regression testing and change-management / deployment processes.
- Ability to work closely with Finance SMEs and own issues end-to-end.
- Flexibility to support across APAC / EMEA / US (NY) hours where required.
Nice to Have
- Workday Financials certification(s) and/or Adaptive Planning / Prism certification.
- Experience in financial services, fintech or data-driven organizations.
- Experience in a SOX-controlled / regulated environment.
- Exposure to Agile / Scrum delivery and formal change governance.
- Prior experience in a shared-services or global capability centre (GCC) support model.
