Guidewire (BC) Configuration Developer

We are seeking a skilled Guidewire BillingCenter Configuration Developer with strong hands-on experience in BillingCenter configuration, customization, and P&C insurance billing processes. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing billing solutions within the Guidewire InsuranceSuite platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and customize Guidewire BillingCenter based on business requirements.
• Develop and maintain configuration components including:
  • PCF screens
  • Data model extensions
  • Typelists
  • Business rules
  • Workflows
  • Batch processes
• Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand billing requirements.
• Participate in requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment activities.
• Perform impact analysis and support production issue resolution.
• Collaborate with integration teams for end-to-end billing solution delivery.
• Ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities.

• Strong understanding of Billing lifecycle in P&C Insurance.
• Experience in Guidewire InsuranceSuite implementation or enhancement projects.
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.

Insurance Domain Skills

• Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance.
• Understanding of:
  • Billing & payments
  • Invoicing & collections
  • Policy administration interaction with billing
• Exposure to North American insurance markets preferred
