Enterprise Architect - Technology Strategy & Transformation (FS) (TST)

Description
A senior strategic architecture role for professionals with 15+ years of IT experience, including 6+ years as an Enterprise Architect, responsible for defining enterprise-wide architecture vision, driving modernization and transformation programs, and shaping IT strategy, roadmaps, and governance across large organizations.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise architecture tracks for major transformation, modernization, and assessment initiatives.
- Define target-state architectures, conduct assessments, perform gap analysis, and create enterprise roadmaps.
- Guide architecture across technology, data, integration, security, and infrastructure domains.
- Collaborate with architects, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Develop reference architectures, frameworks, PoVs, and reusable architectural assets.
- Own architecture artifacts and represent them in architecture review and governance boards.
- Support IT strategy, enterprise operating model definition, and large transformation proposals.
- Maintain strong client relationships, oversee delivery quality, and support new business opportunities.
- Define and govern enterprise architecture aligned to FS industry reference models (e.g., Core Banking, Payments, Capital Markets platforms etc.)
- Ensure architecture compliance with regulatory frameworks including data localization, audit requirements, and financial risk controls.
- Embed risk, controls, and security architecture including IAM, fraud prevention, AML/KYC and audit logging patterns.
- Define high-availability, disaster recovery, and resilience patterns aligned to critical financial workloads
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, and audit stakeholders to align architecture with regulatory and governance requirements
Qualifications
Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Economics, or related fields.
Enterprise Architecture Expertise
- 15+ years of IT experience with 6+ years serving as an Enterprise Architect in large, complex organizations.
- Experienced Enterprise Architect with a proven track record defining target-state architectures, conducting enterprise-wide assessments, leading Application Portfolio Rationalization (APR), and establishing architecture governance and roadmaps across business, data, application, and technology domains.
- Strong hands-on expertise with EA tools such as LeanIX, Archi/ArchiMate, Orbus iServer or similar platforms for modelling, repository management, and architecture analysis.
Technical Depth
- Hands-on experience across application, cloud/infrastructure, integration, data, and security architectures.
- Expertise in multi-cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, containers, DevSecOps, and automation practices.
- Strong engineering foundation in full-stack technologies, data platforms, analytics, and AI/ML.
Digital & Emerging Tech
- Experience with low-code/no-code, GenAI use cases, data governance, analytics platforms, and mobile architectures.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and modern digital architecture patterns.
Leadership & Consulting Skills
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead architecture teams, and steer complex transformation programs.
- Strong communication, consulting, and presentation skills, including experience delivering thought leadership.
Certifications (Preferred)
- Architecture and cloud certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP, Zachman, CISSP, ITIL, SAFe, PMI, CEH, etc.
