This role is for you if you have the below
Educational Qualifications-
Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g. ICAI or ACCA)
Additional certifications (if any)
Work Experience-
1-3 years of experience with a Big4 in a client facing environment working on Financial Services audits and/or international clients. End to end audit experience will be an added advantage.
Experience: Banking knowledge preferred; exposure to trading or regulatory audits is a plus.
Roles & responsibilities
We are recruiting for a Senior in the Financial Services Audit team with focus on WpHG (German Securities Trading Act) audits. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing a team comprising of fresh graduates and experienced professionals
Executing and supervising audit procedures related to WpHG / regulatory audits for trading and capital market activities.
Auditing and in-charging complex areas related to trading business, order execution, and compliance controls
Performing process walkthroughs to understand control environments, identify risks, and evaluate the design and implementation of key controls
Monitoring work, managing, and motivating the team to ensure deliverables meet quality standards
Being an active member of the Financial Services Audit engagement team and performing audit procedures
Coordinating with onshore Germany teams for audit approach, queries, and status updates
Identifying issues, gaps in controls, and tracking them to closure
Reviewing team deliverables and providing timely feedback.
Sharing knowledge, mentoring, and coaching team members.
Maintaining data confidentiality and adherence to risk management policies.
Building relationships with stakeholders both onshore and within KRC
