Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Grafana Developer to design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and monitoring solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data visualization, monitoring tools, and integrating multiple data sources to deliver actionable insights for business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop dynamic dashboards using Grafana

• Integrate Grafana with data sources such as Prometheus, Elasticsearch, InfluxDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.

• Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems

• Create custom panels, plugins, and visualizations where required

• Optimize dashboard performance and data queries

• Implement role-based access controls and security best practices

• Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, Data Engineering, and Development teams

• Troubleshoot performance and data consistency issues

• Automate dashboard deployment using infrastructure-as-code tools

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Grafana

• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Loki, Tempo

• Solid understanding of time-series databases

• Knowledge of SQL and query optimization

• Experience with REST APIs and JSON

• Familiarity with Linux environments

• Understanding of monitoring concepts: SLIs, SLOs, SLAs

• Experience with alert configuration and notification channels

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go

• Experience in observability stack (metrics, logs, traces)

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in monitoring and visualization tools

• 2+ years of hands-on Grafana development experience
