Senior Instructional Designer (K -12 US Curriculum)

Summary Description\nThe Instructional Designer drives the production of professional learning (PL) materials to\nenable our team to maximize learning impact. This position develops comprehensive and\nengaging PL materials to support educators with the implementation of products in the company portfolio.\n\nEssential Job Functions\n• Develop PL materials to be used by professional learning specialists, preparing them to\ndeliver onsite and virtual PL sessions. This includes the creation of new materials and also\nupdating materials as products change, ensuring all PL specialists are kept up to date with\nthe most current information.\n• Build asynchronous, online PL content to support educators with the implementation of\nproducts in the company’s portfolio, including online courses, videos, etc., incorporating best\npractices in adult online learning.\n• Incorporate best practices in adult learning theory in the design and production of all PL\nmaterials, identifying skill gaps and formulating learning objectives with actionable\nmaterials to deliver results.\n• Work with PL content design team members and create clear, concise, and accurate PL\nmaterials for PL specialists and educators, for onsite, virtual, and asynchronous delivery.\n• Contribute to the production process with video and marketing teams to develop and update\nPL materials.\n• Establish an environment of problem-solving while maintaining discipline, productivity, and\naccountability.\n• Engage in meaningful collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product\nmanagement, field teams, curriculum experts, platform developers, and other subject-\nmatter experts (SMEs) to develop high-quality PL materials.\n• Drive field communication and enablement to internal teams to ensure they are prepared to\ndeliver comprehensive and engaging PL events.\n• Other duties as required.\n\nQualifications\n• Bachelor's degree in education and a minimum of 5 years of experience in K-12 EdTech,\nprofessional development, and/or adult learning; or an acceptable combination of education\nand experience.\n\nTechnical Skills\n• Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design with PL materials for K-12\neducators; strong drive to stay current on PL trends to inform PL materials.\n• Ability to adjust interaction style to a range of audiences and ensure the insights, ideas, &\nexpertise is expressed & considered.\n• Experience with AI tools and workflows, video scripts, video production, and online courses\nto develop asynchronous PL content, preferred.\n\nCompetencies\n• Must enjoy a challenging work environment that requires flexibility, self-direction, creativity,\nand strong communication skills.\n• Ability to effectively meet deadlines.\n• Able to work independently and as part of multiple teams with varied cultures and\ninteraction styles.\n• Excellent communication and presentation skills to a variety of audiences.\n\nInterested applicants, please share your updated resume along with the details below -\n\n Current Location-\n Total Experience –\n Have you been interviewed in LearningMate 6 months prior, directly or through any consultant- YES/ NO, if YES, please mention the recruiter's name and or Hiring Manager name-\n How many years of relevant Experience do you have as K12 Instructional Designer ?-\n Current CTC-\n Expected CTC-\n Notice Period-\n Availability for interview & Assessment test in the coming weeks – YES/ No-\n Do you have a laptop/desktop?\n Willing to work in the US overlapping shift timings of 1 PM - 10 PM - Yes/ No -\n\nThanks & Regards,\n\nNeelam Fernandes\nHR team - Mumbai
