QC in India

Location: South Kolkata, India

Salary: USD 400-500 before tax.

Responsibilities

· Conduct in-process (on-line) & Final inspection, pre-shipment and loading inspection

· Prepare and Issue Inspection Report precisely based on Inspection Findings within 24hours after Inspection

· Inform POM or QE of any Specific Issues, Problems, Comments, Findings during Inspection Processing and make a Record into Inspection Report if necessary

· Explain the Inspection Result and Comments to Vendor/Factory Representative after Inspection

· Coordinate with factories rework and re-inspection of rejected order

· Conduct Onsite Assessment of Production and Material Status to support merchandiser in making Necessary Adjustments and Arrangements to guarantee Shipments on time

· Identify problems in early stage of the production process and provide solutions

· Conduct with vendor/factory for the claims and provide Technical Assistance to the Vendor/Factory on Continuous Improvement of Quality Control Capability

· Support QE and Work with Vendor/Factory to determine Root Cause and implement Corrective Actions of BU Claim if required

· Visit & travel to the vendors/factories based on the company inspection schedule

· Arrange the Travel Route and Transportation properly to save the Travel Cost

Qualifications

1. Fluent English in both oral and written.
2. 3-5 years of working experience of QC in the textile/bags/apparel/soft goods industry.
3. Has buying office/trading company experience.
