Purpose of Job

The candidate will lead and coordinate all QC activities related to All glass decoration Processes to control product quality. He will be responsible for In process checks as Proactive quality detection, as well as Sorting/ inspection of all production and ensuring QA audit passed. The candidate will also provide support in the analysis, review, and trending of release data, SOPs.

The individual should have demonstrated ability to work effectively in analytical development, quality control, and manufacturing environment is also a requirement for the position.

Essential Experience

• Min 18 to 20 Years of experience in Quality domain and at least 4 to 5 years experience in glass/ decoration in Quality Control related activities.

• Min 5 to 8 years should have worked as function HOD handling a team
\n
• Should be well versed with Quality measurement, cost and Process driven
\n

Reporting to: Plant head

Key Roles/Responsibilities: –

1. Ensuring QC resources training and development.
\n
2. Developing and implementation of SOPs leading to Quality of production process.
\n
3. Having complete clarity on Quality definitions/ requirement and able to transfer the same to both Production team as well as his own team.
\n
4. Coordinate and lead QC shop floor related activities
\n
5. Ensuring inspection quality and data maintained and review analytical data and submit input to management.
\n
6. Time to time discuss quality expectations with Production team and also resolve cross function issues related the quality observations.
\n
7. Analyze and review quality control release.
\n
8. Prepare and review manufacturing process development studies for internal reports.
\n
9. Work collaboratively with manufacturing/supply chain, quality assurance, to ensure timely delivery of final goods as per schedule.
\n
10. Participate in authoring and review of Analytical Development, Quality Control, Manufacturing control documents such as: standard operation procedures (SOPs), validation/verification protocols, reports and technical reports, manufacturing process development reports, investigation (OOS/ deviations, change control and INCs) reports.
\n
11. Preparing glass defects observations and coordinating with Glass plant for bringing improvement at input level.
\n
12. Prepare and arrange QC meeting minutes, Sample/critical and other routine QC documentations as needed.
\n
13. Ensuring sorting efficiency tracking and monitoring.
\n
14. Sorting capacity utilization, proactively resource planning and expansion proposal to management.
\n
15. Searching for new technological advanced solution for inspection, and helping team to find actions on defects at generation level, so slippages can be minimised
\n
16. Additional responsibilities maybe assigned, as required, or in consideration of candidate’s expertise and skills.
\n
17. Shall have knowledge of ISO certification like ISO 9001/ ISO 15378 GMP and Reconcile audit results from multiple sources and maintain records of completed audits.
\n
18. Responsible for identifying and implementing system improvements to optimize performance and uptime in a manner consistent with organizational goals, best practices requirements.
