SVKM’s NMIMS Deemed to be University is pleased to invite applications for the position of Assistant Professor at Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce - Mumbai in Accounting & Finance Area with Chartered Accountant / Chartered Financial Analyst / Master of Business Administration specialization.

Job Description

Qualifying Criteria – ASSISTANT PROFESSOR:

a. A Master ‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in concerned / relevant discipline from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

b. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET.

OR

b. A candidate has been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

AND

c. Minimum 2 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals

OR

First Class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant / Chartered Financial Analyst / Master of Business Administration in Finance.

d. Without prejudice to the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable:

i) Ph.D preferred with entry-level 2 years’ experience is desirable but not mandatory.

ii) The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D. work in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency.

Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and a patent filed.

Pay Scales: As per UGC guidelines; but will not be a constraint for the right candidate.
