Qualification

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or ICWA (CMA) – Qualified / Semi-Qualified candidates with relevant experience may also be considered.
• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance or Accounting.

Experience

• Minimum 5–10 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Experience in the education sector or managing school finances will be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management
• Manage the complete accounting function of the institution.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Budget preparation and monitoring.
• Cash flow management.
• Bank reconciliation and fund management.
• Financial forecasting and MIS reporting.

School Finance Management

• Monitor fee collections and receivables.
• Control operational expenditures.
• Manage vendor payments and reconciliations.
• Budget monitoring for departments.
• Cost analysis and financial planning.
• Prepare financial reports for Management and the Board.

Statutory Compliance

• GST compliance.
• TDS calculations and filings.
• Income Tax compliance.
• PF, ESI and Professional Tax compliance.
• Audit coordination.
• Statutory documentation.
• Liaison with auditors, banks and government departments.

Accounting & ERP

• Maintain books of accounts.
• Ensure accurate ledger maintenance.
• General Ledger scrutiny.
• Journal entries.
• Fixed Asset Register.
• Depreciation accounting.
• Inventory accounting where applicable.

Payroll & HR Finance

• Payroll verification.
• Salary reconciliation.
• Employee reimbursements.
• Final settlements.
• Leave encashment calculations.
• Financial support for HR operations.

Internal Controls

• Develop and monitor internal financial controls.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Identify financial risks.
• Improve financial processes.
• Support management in financial decision-making.

Technical Skills

• The ideal candidate should have strong working knowledge of:
• Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime
• Zoho Books / Zoho Accounts
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Pivot Tables
• VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
• SUMIF/SUMIFS
• Financial formulas
• MIS preparation
• MS Word & PowerPoint
• Google Workspace
