Profile: Limnologist-Ahmedabad-4.8 LPA

Experience:

• 2+ years of practical experience in limnology, water quality monitoring, or aquatic ecosystem management.

• Experience working on ponds, lakes or natural water bodies restoration projects preferred.

Salary Range: 35k - 40k

Roles:

• Conduct scientific limnological surveys of ponds, lakes and water bodies.

• Collect and analyse water and sediment samples to assess ecological health.

• Develop and implement pond remediation and cleansing plans based on data.

• Coordinate with project teams to optimize the use of technologies like nanobubble/sonic aeration for water improvement.

• Prepare detailed technical reports and recommendations for internal teams and clients.

• Monitor ecological responses post-cleansing interventions and support adaptive strategies.

• Engage with local stakeholders and convey project impact clearly.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Limnology, Ecology, Aquatic Biology or related field.

• Strong understanding of freshwater ecosystem science and water quality parameters.
