AGM/DGM - Structural Design

We are seeking a Structural Design Engineer who will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural systems for a variety of projects. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of engineers and architects to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for our clients. Roles and Responsibilities

• Designing structures using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other design tools.

• Analyzing structures to ensure they are safe and can withstand the loads they will encounter.

• Developing design specifications and requirements for projects.
\n
• Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the structural design meets project needs and requirements.
\n
• Creating detailed engineering drawings, plans, and blueprints for construction.
\n
• Evaluating and selecting appropriate materials for construction.
\n
• Conducting on-site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
\n
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during construction.
\n
• Conducting research to stay current on industry trends and advances in structural engineering.
\n
• Ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with relevant building codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
\n
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
\n
• 10 years of experience in structural design and analysis.
\n
• Proficiency in structural analysis software
\n
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
\n
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
\n
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
\n
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
\n
• Project management skills are a plus.
