Required Qualifications For Assistant Professor Candidates with Ph.D. (pursuing, awarded, or submitted) . Minimum 3-5 years of teaching/research/industry experience. At least 3 research publications in Scopus/SCI/UGC‑care journals. Strong academic record and subject expertise. Expertise in one or more domains: Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Data Science & Big Data Analytics Cyber Security Cloud Computing IoT & Embedded Systems Blockchain Full‑Stack Development Software Engineering Key Responsibilities Teaching & Learning Deliver engaging lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials Develop lesson plans, course files, and digital learning materials Mentor students for projects, internships, and career development Conduct assessments, evaluations, and continuous internal assessments (CIA) Research & Innovation Publish research in reputed journals (Scopus/SCI/UGC‑Care) Guide B.Tech/M.Tech/Ph.D. scholars Participate in conferences, FDPs, and workshops Academic Administration Contribute to curriculum design and syllabus revision Participate in departmental committees, accreditation processes (NBA/NAAC), and quality initiatives Support university events, admissions, outreach, and branding activities Professional Conduct Maintain discipline, punctuality, and academic integrity Uphold NIMS University’s values, policies, and code of conduct Foster a positive, inclusive, and student‑centric learning environment Desired Skills & Competencies Strong communication skills are a must with excellent presentation skills.
