Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CA Articles Assistant role based in Bengaluru. The Articles Assistant will support audit engagements, including vouching, verification of ledgers, documentation, and preparation of working papers under the supervision of seniors and partners. Responsibilities include assisting in statutory, tax, and internal audits, preparing tax computations, supporting the filing of returns, and helping with compliance for direct and indirect taxes. The role involves maintaining books of accounts, preparing basic financial statements, and supporting management reporting and reconciliations. The Articles Assistant will also coordinate with clients to collect information, respond to queries, and ensure timely completion of assignments while adhering to professional and firm standards.

Qualifications
- Registered as a CA student with ICAI and eligible to commence or continue articleship training.
- Strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and basic audit concepts.
- Working knowledge or willingness to learn direct and indirect tax laws, including income tax and GST compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and familiarity with accounting or ERP software is an advantage.
- Good analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact professionally with team members and clients.
- Ability to manage time, handle multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a structured manner.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced professional environment.
- Preference for candidates who have completed relevant academic milestones (e.g., IPCC/Intermediate groups) and are committed to completing the full articleship period.
