Senior Accountant

Position Overview\nThe Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting timely financial reporting. This position is responsible for day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close activities, contributing directly to the integrity of the organization’s financial data and processes.\nEssential Responsibilities\nCore Accounting Functions\nPrepare and reconcile account balances, bank statements, and general ledger accounts.\nMaintain organized and accurate supporting documentation for all accounting records.\nManage and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close procedures.\nVerify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.\nAssist with external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.\nEnsure compliance with GAAP principles and internal accounting policies.\nContribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.\nQualifications & Experience\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.\nMinimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience .\nCPA certification is preferred but not required.\nSkills\nDemonstrated experience applying GAAP in financial reporting and accounting operations.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.\nExcellent organizational and communication skills.\nTechnical Tools\nProficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, Connectwise.
