JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Principal Manufacturing Engineers play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing industrialization processes for UAV systems. Their expertise ensures the efficient production of high-quality UAVs while maintaining safety standards and regulatory compliance. They collaborate closely with cross-functional teams mainly Design Engineering, Production, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Programs, Facilities etc to optimize manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

\n

    \n
  • Bachelor's in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
  • \n
  • Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the aerospace or UAV industry.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including composite manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of CATIA software design tool.
  • \n
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and manufacturing standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
  • \n
  • V. Good problem-solving skills and analytical skills to adequately analyze manufacturing needs from equipment selection to the detailed lean process flows required for both low and high volume manufacturing.
  • \n
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • \n
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • \n
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products. Knowledge of regulatory requirements for aerospace manufacturing, is desirable. Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • \n
  • Strong working knowledge of the latest manufacturing engineering and related product design practices with a familiarity in Lean and Kaizen activities.
  • \n
  • Very good knowledge of Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMA), Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • \n
  • Very good knowledge of Root cause / corrective action processes and techniques.
  • \n
