Role Description The Sales Executive role at Jagat Jewels is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. This role involves welcoming and engaging customers in the showroom, understanding their requirements, and presenting suitable jewelry options with accurate product information and pricing. The Sales Executive will handle inquiries, manage negotiations, issue invoices, and support billing and payment processes while maintaining detailed sales records. Daily responsibilities include ensuring attractive product displays, updating stock information, coordinating with the inventory team, and following up with prospective and existing customers to build long-term relationships. The role also includes meeting individual and team sales targets, supporting promotional activities, and upholding company policies and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and customer service skills, including the ability to understand customer needs, build rapport, and close sales effectively.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with clear spoken and written English; knowledge of Hindi or other local languages is an advantage.
- Basic numerical and documentation skills for handling billing, pricing, discounts, and maintaining accurate sales records.
- Attention to detail and aesthetic sense for product presentation, showroom upkeep, and maintaining brand standards.
- Familiarity with retail operations or jewelry industry experience is beneficial, including understanding of gemstones, metals, and certifications.
- Comfort using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications for invoicing, inventory updates, and customer data management.
- Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and peak festive seasons, and to meet performance and sales targets.
- Minimum high school diploma; a degree in business, commerce, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
