Job Title: Energy Management Analyst (EMS/PTC)\nExperience: 4–8 Years\nLocation: Hyderabad (Offshore)\nEmployment Type: Full-Time\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Energy Management Analyst to support the investigation, analysis, monitoring, and reporting of Energy Management Systems (EMS), including LEADER and Trip Optimizer platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analytics capabilities, experience working with rail technology systems, and a solid understanding of Positive Train Control (PTC) and Energy Management Systems.\n\nThe role involves analyzing operational data, identifying trends and improvement opportunities, supporting production systems, and driving automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the operation, monitoring, investigation, and reporting of EMS platforms, including LEADER and Trip Optimizer.\nAnalyze large datasets to identify performance trends, operational issues, and optimization opportunities.\nPerform root cause analysis for system issues and support resolution activities.\nDevelop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions to support business and operational decision-making.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and operational efficiency.\nIdentify and implement automation opportunities using scripting and data analytics tools.\nEnsure high-quality deliverables with a focus on accuracy, reliability, and production excellence.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to achieving first-time-right outcomes.\nParticipate in incident analysis, troubleshooting, and production support activities.\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\n4–8 years of experience in EMS, PTC, Data Analytics, or related domains.\nStrong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.\nAdvanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis techniques.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.\nExperience identifying and implementing automation opportunities.\nUnderstanding of Positive Train Control (PTC) systems and Energy Management Systems.\n\nPreferred Skills\nStrong scripting experience with Python.\nExperience with Tableau for reporting and dashboard development.\nKnowledge of railway operational systems, transportation analytics, or related technologies.\nFamiliarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools.\nDesired Candidate Profile\nExtensive experience in Python programming and data analytics.\nProven track record of delivering zero-defect projects and achieving first-time-right production outcomes.\nHands-on experience supporting and enhancing EMS platforms such as LEADER and Trip Optimizer.\nStrong understanding of Positive Train Control (PTC) and Energy Management Systems.\nAbility to translate business and operational requirements into actionable analytical insights.\nSelf-motivated professional with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\nReliable support and enhancement of EMS applications.\nTimely identification and resolution of operational issues.\nIncreased automation and process efficiency through data-driven solutions.\nAccurate reporting and actionable insights that improve operational performance.\nConsistent delivery of high-quality, production-ready solutions.
