\nJob Summary
\nCape Electric Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dynamic and technically sound Engineer – Sales & Business Development to promote and sell Lightning Protection Systems, Industrial LV Panels, and Surge Protection Devices. The role involves educating customers on technical concepts, generating leads from industrial and commercial segments, and driving business growth in the Karnataka region.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Promote and sell Lightning Protection Systems, Industrial LV Panels, and Surge Protection Devices \n
- Explain and market technical concepts, system design, and application benefits to customers \n
- Generate leads from industries such as manufacturing plants, infrastructure projects, commercial buildings, and utilities \n
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through site visits, cold calls, networking, and references \n
- Engage with consultants, architects, EPC contractors, electrical contractors, and end users \n
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proposal discussions \n
- Coordinate with the engineering and design team for system layouts, BOQs, and technical submittals \n
- Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals and follow up for order closure \n
- Track enquiries, sales pipeline, and customer interactions using CRM or internal systems \n
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends in the region \n
- Support after-sales coordination to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business \n
Desired Candidate Profile

- Strong technical understanding of electrical systems \n
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a simple and convincing manner \n
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently in the region \n
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills \n
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory \n
Qualifications

- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline \n
Experience
\n- \n
- 3–6 years of experience in technical sales / business development \n
- Experience in lightning protection, LV panels, surge protection devices, or electrical project sales will be preferred \n
Industry Exposure Preferred
