Senior Computational Designer

Job Summary: We are looking for a Computational Designer with a background in Architecture and/or Interior Design to join our team. This role focuses on leveraging computational design to enhance creativity, efficiency, and performance in architectural and interior projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working with parametric modelling, automation tools, and performance analysis, ensuring innovative and data-driven design solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop tools to optimize design workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and explore generative design possibilities Collaborate with architects, interior designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate computational methodologies into the design process Utilize parametric modelling tools such as Rhino + Grasshopper, Dynamo Create automation solutions using programming languages like C# and Python Conduct performance analysis to ensure data-driven design decisions Develop and maintain and standards within the team, ensuring scalability and efficiency Stay informed on emerging technologies in computational design, automation, AI-driven tools, and digital fabrication to enhance design capabilities . Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Computational Design, or a related field Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in computational design, architecture, or interior design. Technical Proficiency. Parametric modelling tools: Rhino + Grasshopper, Dynamo, or similar platforms Programming/Scripting: C#, Python, or visual scripting for automation BIM integration: Working knowledge of Revit and interoperability between computational tools Strong understanding of architectural and interior design principles, building systems, materials, and construction techniques Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality deliverables A portfolio showcasing computational design projects is a plus. Preferred Skills- Experience with automation and AI-driven tools for design optimization Knowledge of digital fabrication, material research, or computational geometry. Familiarity with collaborative workflows, data visualization, and interoperability between design software. Understanding of cloud-based computing or scripting for large-scale data processing for design applications. Generate multiple design iterations to evaluate various options and facilitate decision-making processes through computational techniques. Technical interviews.
