Sourcing & New Product Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Ideation & Planning

Own product development from concept to launch. Define product requirements, scope,

timelines, and success criteria.

• Cross-functional Collaboration

Act as the central coordination point between design, engineering, sourcing, quality, supply

chain, and marketing teams.

• Product Development & Prototyping

Work with internal teams and manufacturers to develop prototypes, review designs, and

validate samples.

• Vendor & Partner Management

Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers across product categories and manage

ongoing relationships.

• Quality & Compliance Oversight

Support testing, validation, inspections, and corrective actions to meet quality standards.

• Cost & Timeline Management

Track budgets and timelines, lag risks early, and drive timely resolution.

• Market & Customer Insight

Support market research, customer feedback analysis, and competitive benchmarking.

• Documentation & Reporting

Maintain clear documentation and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

• Product Launch Support

Coordinate with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams for successful product

launches.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Product Design, Management, or related

field.

• 1-3 years of experience in product development or NPD roles.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing, quality, and sourcing worklows.

• Excellent communication, ownership, and problem-solving skills.

Bonus:

• Exposure to D2C or B2B product launches.

• Experience scaling products from pilot to mass production.
