Website: http://www.sonejiengineering.com Job Description Primary Responsibilities:- Mechanical erection & commissioning activities in Hydropower plants. Study, interpret, and execute work as per approved mechanical drawings, GA drawings, assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, P&ID diagrams, and technical specifications. Supervise erection and assembly of hydro-mechanical equipment as per approved drawings and procedures. Verify dimensions, tolerances, clearances, alignment requirements, and installation sequences from engineering drawings. Identify and report discrepancies between site conditions and engineering documents. Ensure all erection and commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with the latest approved revisions of drawings and documents. Qualification Requirements Educational Qualification: B.E/B.TECH OR DIPLOMA IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING Experience Required: MINIMUM 5-10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN HYDROPOWER PLANT (SITE ERECTION AND COMMISSIONING/O&M) Technical Skills Required: Ability to read and interpret General Arrangement (GA), assembly, fabrication, and detail drawings. Understanding of P&ID, hydraulic, lubrication, and cooling water system schematics. Knowledge of engineering tolerances, fits, and geometric dimensions Knowledge of Installation of Turbine Assembly, Guide vane with regulating mechanism, Runner blades, Bearings, shaft seal assembly, Piping & other auxiliary system. Knowledge of alignment, levelling & shaft centring. Additional Skills Required: Communication Skills Leadership Skills Computer Skills Other: ABILITY TO CARRY OUT THE SITE ERECTION WORKS INDEPENDENTLY
