The role involves preparing authentic dishes while maintaining high standards of taste, quality, consistency, and hygiene in a fast-paced production environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nPrepare and cook authentic South Indian non-vegetarian dishes (e.g., Chettinad, Kerala, Andhra cuisines)\nManage bulk food production for banquets, events, and catering orders\nEnsure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes\nHandle preparation of marinades, gravies, spice blends, and meat processing\nMaintain cleanliness and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI guidelines)\nMonitor stock levels, assist in inventory management and requisitions\nEnsure proper storage and handling of raw materials, especially meats and seafood\nCollaborate with the kitchen team for smooth production planning and execution\nSupport in menu planning and suggest improvements based on demand and trends\nSkills & Competencies\nStrong expertise in South Indian non-vegetarian cuisine\nKnowledge of bulk cooking techniques and large-scale food production\nUnderstanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards\nAbility to work efficiently under pressure and tight timelines\nGood organizational and teamwork skills
