Role: Actimize SAM Implementation Specialist (AML | Actimize SAM | SQL | Implementation)
Location: Mumbai
We are looking for a skilled Actimize SAM Implementation Specialist to join a high-performing AML technology team focused on implementing and enhancing Suspicious Activity Monitoring (SAM) solutions using Actimize.
The role involves end-to-end implementation, configuration, and optimization of AML SAM systems, working closely with business analysts, data engineers, and development teams to strengthen financial crime detection capabilities.
Role Overview:
The incumbent will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Actimize SAM models and rules, ensuring effective alert generation and accurate AML monitoring. This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong expertise in Actimize architecture, SQL, and AML surveillance systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, configure, and maintain Actimize SAM models, rules, and alert generation workflows
- Work on AML processes and optimize Suspicious Activity Monitoring frameworks
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for AML analysis and model calibration
- Work with Actimize table structures, AIS processes, and UDM data models
- Perform data analysis to generate actionable AML insights
- Collaborate with BA, Data Engineering, and Development teams across deliverables
- Participate in requirement gathering, stakeholder discussions, and solution design
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and governance in all AML-related outputs
Required Skills & Experience:
- 12+ months of hands-on experience in Actimize SAM implementation (mandatory)
- Overall 4+ years of experience in AML/ Actimize/ financial crime domain preferred
- Strong understanding of Actimize SAM models, rules, alerts, and workflow design
- Good knowledge of AIS processes and UDM table structures
- Strong SQL skills with experience in complex query development and optimization
- Understanding of AML surveillance systems and financial crime monitoring
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Good to Have:
- Experience with Git and Visual Studio
- Exposure to Ansible or automation tools
- Prior experience in enterprise AML/ banking/ financial services environments
