Position Details\nPosition: Product Development Engineer\nExperience: 2–4 Years\nLocation: Kochi, Kerala\nDepartment: MED – R&D\nEducational Qualification\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics / ECE Engineering\nHardware Knowledge\nStrong fundamentals in analog and digital circuits\nMicrocontroller-based hardware design and control systems\nBasic knowledge of power electronics (half/full bridge topologies, Power control)\nComponent selection including MOSFETs/IGBTs and protection circuits\nDesign and Development\nSchematic design, BOM creation and PCB layout review\nBasic EMI/EMC-aware design practices\nCoordinate with vendors for PCB fabrication and assembly\nSupport PCB bring-up, testing and debugging\nProduct Development & NPD\nExperience in new product development lifecycle (NPD/NPI)\nSupport design validation and iteration cycles\nExposure to DFMEA or basic risk analysis\nWork with cross-functional teams and support product launches\nTesting & Validation\nThermal evaluation of power components\nFull product testing and functional Validation\nPerform root cause analysis and corrective actions\nProgramming Skills\nBasic Embedded C programming for microcontrollers\nBasic Python knowledge is an added advantage\nSoftware & Tools\nPADS Pro, EasyEDA CAD\nSolidWorks (added advantage)\nPLM Tool: PTC Windchill (added advantage)\nSoft Skills & Collaboration\nStrong coordination with cross-functional teams (CFT)\nGood team player with collaborative mindset\nEffective communication
