Role Summary

Own the full sales cycle for rooftop solar in Mumbai — from lead generation to deal closure to payment collection. Carry monthly kW and revenue targets. Develop new markets and network.


Key Responsibilities

  • Generate leads through housing societies, channel partners, CAs, builders, electricians and referrals
  • Qualify and convert inbound digital and walk-in leads
  • Pitch the product and close leads
  • Maintain deal pipeline and get new leads
  • Meet residential, housing society and commercial clients to understand their requirements
  • Explain solar systems, savings, payback, PM Surya Ghar subsidy, net-metering and financing options
  • Coordinate with the design team for techno-commercial proposals and present them to clients
  • Negotiate and close orders
  • Follow up and collect advance, milestone and final payments
  • Coordinate with design, engineering and operations teams for smooth project handover
  • Maintain client relationships post-installation and generate referrals
  • Update CRM and report pipeline weekly
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly kW, revenue and collection targets



Requirements

  • 4+ years of rooftop solar sales experience in Mumbai/MMR
  • Proven track record of closing residential and/or commercial deals
  • Knowledge of PM Surya Ghar subsidy and MSEDCL/Adani/Tata Power net-metering process
  • Working understanding of solar system components, sizing and payback
  • Fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi
  • Strong negotiation and client relationship skills
  • Owns a two-wheeler/car and smartphone



Good to Have

  • Diploma or B.E. in Electrical/Mechanical, or MBA
  • Existing network of housing societies, CAs, builders or contractors in Mumbai


  • Compensation

    • Fixed: 5–8 LPA
    • Variable: ₹2–4 LPA at target (uncapped)
    • Travel, fuel and mobile reimbursement
