Int'l Franchise Bus. Consultant - India
POSITION SUMMARY
The Franchise Business Consultant is responsible for providing support and coaching to an assigned territory of franchise/license operated restaurant locations while working as a liaison for the Company. This position assists franchisees in an effort to elevate operational consistency, strengthen franchise partnerships, protect the brand, enhance guest experience, and drive disciplined execution across assigned markets. By developing franchisee capability and ensuring operational excellence, the role ultimately delivers sustainable sales growth and franchisee profitability.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
May perform any or all of the following duties:
- Is the key in the market contact for the franchisee
- Displays outstanding leadership skills; provides coaching, guidance, and development advice to franchisees
- Executes the Company’s strategic plan and marketing/operational performance standards
- Set up franchise business reviews and create / monitor / support action plans to improve desirable outcomes from such reviews
- Conducts operational reviews and evaluations, including assisting the franchisees in identifying business opportunities and finding solutions to sales and cost controls
- Provides strategic operational support in the areas of service standards, product quality control, training, safety, sanitation, and new restaurant openings
- Assists with restaurant development planning and execution, including sub-market identification, site approval, and kitchen design issues
- Aids franchisees in developing and executing a systematic training program and provides restaurant opening assistance
- Communicates changes in the Company’s specifications and procedures
- Attends seminars and completes other training to remain current on industry trends
- Participates in company meetings, webinars, and conference calls
- Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned in response to changing business conditions and/or requirements
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/CORE COMPETENCIES
- Must possess approximately six (6) years of any combination of experience and/or education that demonstrates QSR knowledge of Restaurant Operations, Franchise management, or a related field
- Experience supporting an international market launch.
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Must have a demonstrated track record of meeting operational goals, standards, building sales, and maximizing profits
- Must have the ability to determine expectations, measure effectiveness in processes, enforce quality standards, and meet commitments
- Must have excellent problem-resolution skills and the ability to maintain relationships
- Must display strong analytical and organizational skills and have the ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies with positive business results
- Must have a strong work ethic and a high level of confidentiality to ensure proper handling of sensitive information
- Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems for daily business use. Demonstrates clear and concise verbal and written communication, ensuring messages are understood across all levels

- Corporate Office is fast-paced, high-volume of activity, and a deadline-driven environment
- Based in India
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Travels as needed within India.
