Job Description

We are seeking a highly creative, performance-driven Motion Graphics and Digital Video Content Creator to join our marketing team. This role is crucial for developing and producing engaging, high-converting motion graphics and short-form video content specifically for our paid digital advertising channels (e.g., Meta/Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts). The ideal candidate is deeply immersed in social media culture and can rapidly create data-informed, native-feeling video ads that drive measurable business results (clicks, conversions, and ROAS).

Key Responsibilities

Creative Strategy & Ideation

  • Conceptualize & Script: Generate high-volume, innovative, and compelling concepts and scripts for short-form video and reel ads, with a focus on Direct Response (DR) marketing principles (strong hooks, clear value props, and urgent CTAs).
  • Trendjacking: Stay ahead of platform-specific trends, viral audios, memes, and content formats on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, adapting them into brand-safe, high-performing ad creatives.
  • A/B Testing Focus: Develop multiple creative variations (e.g., different hooks, body content, and CTAs) for systematic A/B testing to optimize ad performance.

Production & Editing

  • End-to-End Video Production: Manage the entire creative lifecycle, which includes planning, scripting, asset gathering, filming/directing (UGC-style/talking head, screen recording, product demos), and post-production.
  • High-Volume Editing: Produce and edit high-quality, short-form video ads (primarily 15-60 seconds) using industry-standard software (e.g., CapCut, Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premier Pro, After-effects) at a rapid pace to fuel the ad testing pipeline.
  • Optimization for Platform: Edit for maximum retention, utilizing fast pacing, jump cuts, dynamic text overlays, on-screen captions, and trend-specific effects to ensure the video feels native to each platform.
  • Asset Management: Organize, tag, and maintain a library of creative assets, including raw footage, final cuts, motion graphics, and sound files.

Performance & Collaboration

  • Data-Driven Iteration: Analyze creative performance data (e.g., CTR, CPA, ROAS, 3-second watch time) from advertising platforms ((Specify: e.g., Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager)) to derive actionable insights for future creative iterations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Media Buying, Creative Strategy, and Brand teams to ensure ad creatives align with campaign performance goals and brand guidelines.
  • Directing Talent: Brief and direct internal team members, actors, and User-Generated Content (UGC) creators to ensure content is authentic, relatable, and adheres to the creative brief.
  • 360 Degree: Plan for all video assets to be utilized and leveraged for branding, PPC and to ensure traffic is directed towards website and other target locations as per requirements

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in English language as the content will all be in English.
  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience creating high-volume, short-form video content specifically for paid digital ads (performance marketing).
  • Software Proficiency: Expertise in video editing and motion graphics software such as Adobe Premier Pro, After-effects, Davinci Resolve, CapCut, 3D etc .
  • Digital Ad Acumen: Deep understanding of the mechanics of high-performing Direct Response video ads, including common hooks, visual pacing, and effective calls-to-action (CTAs).
  • Platform Native: Extensive, demonstrable knowledge of the creative best practices and content trends on major platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing high-performing designs, video ad examples with proven results or clear creative strategy.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to interpret performance metrics and translate them into creative improvements.
  • Speed and Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of output and tight deadlines.
  • Storytelling and creativity: Excellent ability to craft a compelling narrative in a short timeframe exceeding expectation of clients.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency with AI tools for creative production (e.g., generating scripts, voiceovers, or image/video assets).
  • Background in B2C/D2C performance marketing.
