Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for a highly hands-on Manufacturing Engineer for our MNC client with strong practical exposure in CNC machining operations, process engineering, tooling, and fixture development.

\nQualification: DME / BE / B.Tech. (Mechanical / Industrial)
\nPreferred Industry: Pump / Valve / Pharma / Dairy Equipment Manufacturing / Machinery Manufacturing / Aerospace, etc.
\nResponsibilities & Key Result Areas
\nCNC Process Engineering
\n- \n
- Develop and optimize machining processes for CNC Turning, VMC, HMC, and multi-operation machining. \n
- Define operation sequence, cutting parameters, and setup methodology. \n
- Improve productivity through: \n
- Cycle time reduction \n
- Setup reduction \n
- Tool life improvement \n
- Process stabilization \n
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes including machining, welding, press, polishing, assembly, etc. \n
Tooling & Fixture Management
\n- \n
- Selection and standardization of cutting tools, inserts, tool holders, fixtures, etc. \n
- Develop and improve fixture concepts for productivity and quality improvement. \n
- Coordinate with tool suppliers for technical support and optimization. \n
Shop Floor Production Support
\n- \n
- Provide hands-on technical support to production teams. \n
- Troubleshoot machining issues, tool failures, quality problems, and setup-related issues. \n
Continuous Improvement
\n- \n
- Drive Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing initiatives. \n
- Implement setup reduction (SMED) activities. \n
- Improve machine utilization and OEE. \n
- Identify cost reduction opportunities in machining and tooling. \n
- Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and cost-benefit analyses. \n
Documentation & Standardization
\n- \n
- Develop and maintain standardized work instructions, process sheets, SOPs, and quality control procedures. \n
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, routes, and BOMs. \n
- Work closely with Design Engineering, Quality, Costing, Production, and Project teams. \n
- Create 2D/3D designs, models, and assemblies using CAD software (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, etc.). \n
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM). \n
