Job Description – Internal Sales Manager Position Internal Sales Manager Department: Sales & Marketing Location: Jigani Industrial Area, Bengaluru, Karnataka Employment Type: Full-Time About Hakke Industries Hakke Industries is one of South India’s largest manufacturers of Street Lighting Poles, High Masts, Decorative Poles, Stadium Masts, Flag Masts, CCTV Poles, VMS Gantries, and Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) Structures. With a strong presence across infrastructure, industrial, government, and EPC sectors, we are expanding our sales operations and are looking for a dynamic Internal Sales Manager to lead our Internal Sales Department. Position Overview The Internal Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the Internal Sales Team and ensuring timely, accurate, and professional handling of customer enquiries, quotations, tenders, customer communication, CRM management, and order coordination. The role requires excellent leadership, commercial acumen, technical understanding, and the ability to work closely with customers, field sales teams, design, estimation, production, planning, purchase, dispatch, finance, and management. The primary objective is to improve enquiry conversion, quotation quality, response time, customer satisfaction, and sales efficiency. Key Responsibilities 1. Team Leadership Lead and manage the Internal Sales Department. Recruit, train, mentor, and develop Internal Sales Engineers and Executives. Allocate enquiries and monitor workload distribution. Conduct daily review meetings and weekly performance reviews. Build a performance-driven sales support culture. 2. Enquiry Management Ensure all enquiries received through: Website Email LinkedIn WhatsApp Telephone Existing customers Dealers EPC contractors Consultants Architects Sales Engineers Channel Partners are acknowledged promptly and entered into the CRM system. 3. Quotation Management Review RFQs and customer requirements. Coordinate with Design and Estimation teams. Prepare and review techno-commercial quotations. Obtain internal approvals for pricing and commercial terms. Ensure quotations are submitted within committed timelines. Maintain quotation quality and consistency. 4. Customer Relationship Management Build strong relationships with customers. Handle technical and commercial discussions. Follow up on quotations until order closure. Resolve customer queries in coordination with internal departments. Improve customer response time and satisfaction. 5. Sales Coordination Coordinate closely with: Field Sales Team Design Department Estimation Team Production Planning Purchase Quality Dispatch Finance to ensure smooth order execution and customer communication. 6. CRM & Sales Pipeline Management Ensure accurate and timely updating of: Customer database Enquiries Quotations Follow-up schedules Meeting notes Order status Lost opportunities Competitor information Sales pipeline Generate regular sales pipeline and management reports. 7. Tender & Proposal Support Coordinate preparation of tender documents. Ensure timely submission of bids. Review commercial and technical compliance. Support clarification meetings and negotiations. 8. Reporting & MIS Prepare and present: Daily enquiry reports Quotation status reports Weekly sales pipeline reports Monthly performance dashboards Order conversion reports Lost enquiry analysis Team productivity reports Forecast reports 9. Process Improvement Develop and implement Internal Sales SOPs. Standardize quotation templates and customer communication. Improve quotation turnaround time. Enhance CRM discipline and reporting accuracy. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Enquiry acknowledgement within defined timelines. Quotation turnaround time. Quotation accuracy. Order conversion ratio. Follow-up compliance. CRM data accuracy and completeness. Sales pipeline health. Customer satisfaction. Team productivity. On-time submission of reports. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. MBA in Marketing or Sales will be an added advantage. Experience 8–15 years of experience in Internal Sales, Technical Sales, Sales Coordination, or Sales Operations. Minimum 3 years of experience leading an Internal Sales or Sales Support team. Experience in manufacturing or industrial B2B sales is essential.
