About The Job:
- The SAGE X3 Functional Analyst - Order to Cash (O2C) is responsible for designing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing the O2C cycle within Sage X3.
- This role partners closely with Sales, C***omer Service, Logistics, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure seamless order processing, delivery, invoicing, credit controls, and c***omer account management. This hybrid role combines functional consulting, problem-solving, and L2/L3 application support, working closely with cross functional teams across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, Inventory, and Quality.
- Functional Expertise & Configuration
- C***omer Master Data
- Sales Quotations & Sales Orders
- Shipment/Delivery processing
- Invoicing & Billing
- Pricing rules, discounts, commissions
- Credit limit & credit management
- Returns/credit notes
- Maintain core setups: document types, parameters, workflows, numbering, validation rules.
- Conduct workshops with Sales, C***omer Service, Logistics, and Finance stakeholders.
- Understand As Is processes and design optimized To Be O2C workflows.
- Prepare process documentation, functional requirement specs, and solution design documents.
- Support enhancements, new features, rollouts, and configuration changes.
- Develop functional specifications for c***omizations, reports, and integrations (CRM, WMS, payment systems, e commerce).
- Prepare and execute test cases for SIT and UAT; manage defect resolutions.
- Assist with release management, environment promotions, and controlled deployments.
- Collaborate with technical teams for development and testing.
- Provide L2/L3 support for O2C incidents and service requests.
- Diagnose issues in sales order processing, deliveries, invoicing, and c***omer accounts.
- Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
- Ensure adherence to SLAs and compliance controls.
- Prepare test scenarios and lead SIT/UAT cycles.
- Validate workflows, data flows, and integrations across modules.
- Ensure successful deployment of changes into production.
- Create user manuals, SOPs, and release notes.
- Provide training to end users and functional teams.
- Promote adoption of best practices in O2C operations.
Functional Skills
- 4-7 years of hands on experience with SAGE X3 O2C processes.
- Strong knowledge of the full Order to Cash lifecycle:
- Order entry Picking Delivery Shipment Invoicing Collections
- Experience with pricing engines, credit management, and inventory linked sales operations.
- Technical/ERP Skills
- SAGE X3 parameters, workflows, authorizations
- Query tools, Crystal Reports
- Import/Export utilities (data imports/exports)
- Basic knowledge of X3 development (4GL) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong stakeholder management.
- Ability to multitask and work under SLA driven support environments.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in IT, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
- Experience in global or multi entity implementations.
- Knowledge of integration with CRM, warehouse systems, and payment gateways.
