Role Description: The Computer Science Teacher PGT will be responsible for teaching students from STD 7 to STD 12 in alignment with the CISCE curriculum, focusing on core computer science & AI concepts, programming, and related technologies. Day-to-day tasks include planning and delivering engaging lessons, preparing teaching materials, evaluating student performance through assignments and examinations, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will design and update curriculum plans, integrate technology into classroom instruction, and support students in project work and practical lab sessions. The role also involves participating in departmental meetings, coordinating with other faculty members, and contributing to school activities and academic initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong subject knowledge in Computer Science and Computer Science Education. Candidates should possess skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development. Candidates should possess competency in Mathematics to support computer science concepts where required. Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field, with B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred. Prior experience teaching higher secondary (PGT level) students, ideally within CISCE or similar boards. Ability to use educational technology, learning management systems, and programming tools effectively. Strong classroom management, communication, and mentoring skills, with a student-centred teaching approach.
