| Description: • 5–10 years overall in Linux/DevOps/SRE/Infra; 3+ years dedicated Ansible (Core & AAP/AWX) in enterprise environments.
• Strong with YAML, Jinja2 templating, Ansible modules/collections, inventories, roles, handlers, filters, and plugins.
• Experience automating:
o OS: RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu (user mgmt, hardening, services, packages)
o Compute/Virtualization: VMware vSphere, KVM
o Network: Cisco/Arista/F5 modules (nice-to-have)
o Storage/Backup: Common vendor modules (nice-to-have)
o Middleware/DB: Nginx/Apache, WebLogic/Tomcat/JBoss, PostgreSQL/Oracle basics
o Cloud: AWS/Azure/GCP modules for hybrid orchestration (desirable)
Engineering Practices
• Git workflows (branching, PRs), CI/CD for playbook testing (ansible-lint, molecule, pytest basics).
• Packaging and managing Execution Environments/Collections, dependency pinning, and content signing.
• Scripting (Python/Bash) for glue code and custom modules/filters.
Security & Compliance
• Secrets mgmt (Vault/KMS), RBAC, least privilege, credential rotation.
• Implementing patching, hardening, and compliance at scale; audit-ready reporting.
