Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd is seeking a Relationship Manager to join our Bharat Business Loans-Sales team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, driving sales, and contributing to the team's success.

As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients, primarily focusing on Bharat Business Loans. Your key objective will be to understand client needs, offer tailored financial solutions, and ensure a positive and seamless experience. You will be a key point of contact, providing expert advice and building long-lasting relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial goals and requirements.
  • Offer tailored loan solutions, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to offer competitive solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth loan application and approval process.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and training sessions to educate and engage clients.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and refer clients to other bank products and services.
  • Participate in team meetings, share best practices, and contribute to a positive team culture.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of loan products, especially business loans, and the ability to explain complex financial concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with banking software and systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and events as required.
  • A self-motivated and results-driven attitude, with a passion for sales and client success.
